Designed by O.B. Bolton, this iconic triple expansion steam engine is a true masterpiece in the world of model engineering. Originally published in the 1940s and later revised in a series featured in Model Engineer magazine (1985–1986), this design has been widely embraced and built by countless model engineers worldwide.

E and J Winter Bolton Scale Models is proud to present a fresh perspective on this iconic model with a new 86 page, full colour book by James Clark. This comprehensive guide delves into every aspect of the model, including construction, building jigs, timing, and testing of the engine.

To complement the book, we also offer a modern 28 page A4 set of metric drawings by Ron Collins. These updated drawings incorporate design refinements from James Clark on the original O.B. Bolton and J.P. Bertinat designs. O.B Boltons original drawings 3 AO sheets are also still available for order.

The casting set is in Gunmetal and one of the most complete ever put on the market.
